Flaine is a small purpose built resort between Geneva and Chamonix and is the brain child of Eric and Sylvie Boissonnas. Built throughout the 1960's the architect being Marcel Breuer, Master of the Baluhaus School. The apartment blocks are all named after constellations and Pollux is a small block of 36 apartments on four floors situated on the highest of the three level resort. 108 and 109 Pollux are within a private annexe at the end of a ground level corridor and can be rented separately or together for larger parties. They are quiet, have easy access to maintained lawns in the Summer and provide breathtaking views whatever the season. 109 consists of a large living room, with galley kitchen and double sofabunk, a double bedroom, a cabin with bunk beds and separate WC and bathroom including a shower. (Sleeps 6) 108 consists of living room with double sofabed, galley kitchen, cabin with bunkbeds and pullout bed. Separate bathroom and WC. (Sleeps 5) Click for full facilities list:
